It just doesn’t get any better than a Redskins-Cowboys football game. Our Washington Redskins are coming off a disappointing loss last Monday night against the Pittsburg Steelers, The Dallas Cowboys lost a close game to the division rival New York Giants. However, if you have a pulse, you know when the Redskins and Cowboys get it on, both teams come to play. We want a victory and make the Cowboys zero wins and two losses, both in the division. A win will get us 1 +1, and 1 + 0 in our division.
Don’t let announcers fool you; pre-season football games are important because our players get to hit someone else besides our own players. Drafted and undrafted rookies and new free agents need an opportunity to show how good they are in game situations. Our coaches need to screen all the 75 players to determine who will make the final cut down to 53.
Yes, I know its early – not even the final 53 cut, not even August and I should wait to say all this but I’m “feeling the spirit, have to preach, gimme that soapbox”. I am loosing my tie, throwing off my coat! Get me a witness! Tired of reading NFL articles about how great the Dallas Cowboys are because Tony Romo and Dez Bryant are healthy and them picking their pets, Cowboys and/or Giants to win the NFC East and criticize our Redskins if our team is even mentioned.
