Leadership. Our Washington Redskins have the best leadership in the NFL with an owner, Dan Snyder, who has the courage to stand up for our logo, trademark, and name. We have a President, Bruce Allen, who has the experience with Super Bowl organizations and son of Redskins hero coach George Allen. and General Manager Scot McCloughan, who has been to 23 NFL Combines, and known for his “eye for true football talent” and building strong Super Bowl caliber teams. That’s strong leadership at the top. We can trust their judgment when it comes to NFL Drafts, Free Agency, players, coaches, and dealing with the NFL.
I’m happier than a midget getting off a crowded elevator! The Washington Redskins re-signed backup quarterback Colt McCoy, and we finally have some stability at the QB position once again. Basically, the contract is for 3 years at 3 million a year, 9 million total, year 2018 is voidable, and he did get a signing bonus of one million, 800 thousand.
Although our Washington Redskins regular and playoff season is over, there will be a lot going on between now and the 2016 football season. The East West Bowl game was last Saturday and the Senior Bowl is January 30th, and you’ll probably see some future Washington Redskins playing in these games. NFL coaches coach both the North and South teams and virtually all NFL teams have scouts and coaches scouting the practices and the game. These games give clues to who the teams should pick in the April 28-30 NFL Draft.
RedskinsTailgate.com wants to thank you all for a job well done and appreciate your hard work and dedication. You made us Redskins fans proud by surprising the NFL by winning the NFC East Division when most “experts” had you coming in last, We knew you had the team to do it, you knew it as well.
Nobody likes to end the season with a loss, but the Skins faithful have plenty to be thankful for. For one thing, we have a great franchise quarterback – but the best part about it is ending the season with Cousins still healthy.
The team is a strong cohesive unit without all the ‘drama queen’ issues that so many other teams went through this year. The coaching staff is not only competent, but works well with each other while retaining the respect of all the players.
It’s time. Time to win our last regular season home-game. It’s time to win two games in a row. It’s time to get a balanced running and passing attack. It’s time for our offense to capitalize on turnovers by scoring points. It’s time for our offense to score over 30 points a game. It’s time to make the blocks, tackles, and execute each and every play.
