Each and every year we go through a rebirth process, and some years it’s more painful than others. We’re not where we should be after six games, so it’s back to the drawing board. At least we don’t have a “Quarterback Issue” anymore; coaches Gruden chose Kirk Cousins to start this season because he believes Kirk gives us the best change to win. We do however have some other stability issues to iron out before the Redskins start running on all twelve cylinders.
When adversity strikes a child, often it provides a glimpse of the metal the man will be made of. At age 8 Ryan Kerrigan suffered an ear infection that left him half deaf, but he has overcome that challenge. Over the years Ryan learned to fine-tune his other senses to compensate for the loss.
After 83 years the coaching history of the Washington Redskins is equally rich with tradition and championships. What began with the Boston Braves & head coach Lud Wrayin 1932, and the Boston Redskins in ’33 with head coaches Lone Star Dietz & Eddie Casey in ’35 has evolved with the years into a new team now. There are new faces and new names in the coaching staff, with new traditions to build and new championships to win.
