When the Washington Redskins play the Cincinnati Bengals Sunday it won’t be in Cincinnati Ohio, rather in London England with 90,000 fans in Wembley Stadium. Let’s accept it, our Redskins are now International. I knew we had fans all over the world, but never expected our Redskins to play all over the world.
That of course was Skip Bayless and Shannon on the “Undisputed” show before the Giants and Redskins met for battle in Week 3. I love the confidence that Skip showed in the team, and thought you might enjoy savoring that moment with me.
It just doesn’t get any better than a Redskins-Cowboys football game. Our Washington Redskins are coming off a disappointing loss last Monday night against the Pittsburg Steelers, The Dallas Cowboys lost a close game to the division rival New York Giants. However, if you have a pulse, you know when the Redskins and Cowboys get it on, both teams come to play. We want a victory and make the Cowboys zero wins and two losses, both in the division. A win will get us 1 +1, and 1 + 0 in our division.
Kirk Cousins may have finally been chosen to be the starting quarterback of the Washington Redskins last season, but the first half of 2015 came off as clumsy as a pig on ice skates. In game One the Skins managed to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory over Miami. After 5 more games the record stood at 2 wins and four losses.
Why the rough start? Two things stood out:
Kirk threw 8 interceptions in 6 games – but was that cause, or just the symptom?
Kirk didn’t get to practice at all with the first string before the start of the regular season – definitely not a symptom, and arguably the most likely cause of the 6 game “3 Stooges Marathon”.
