Week 4: The Redskins Take the Browns to The Woodshed

Our Washington Redskins defeated the Cleveland Browns by the score of 31 to 20.  It’s “Victory Monday”. The game was closer than the score would indicate.  The First Quarter was “owned” by the Redskins. The offense was sharp, two long drives resulting in touchdown passes by Captain Kirk Cousins, who was 10 of 11 passes and commanded a balanced attack with Matt Jones running the ball almost 50 percent ot the successful touchdown drives.  It appeared the Redskins were on their way to a rout over the Cleveland Browns.

Winning Off the Field Has To Happen First

If NFL football was easy, anyone could be a champion.

However, winning at the professional level is a full time job, regardless of the offseason –

…and more of the game is played off the field than on.

 

 
So, the game has evolved over the years into a process by which the coaches and staff are as hard-pressed as the players.
