Our Redskins Embarrass The Cowboys 20 to 17 In a Barn Burner!

In a defensive battle where both teams defenses played very well, it was the Redskins defense which had the last laugh. The Cowboys kicker set up what should have been an fairly easy 47 yd field goal to tie the game and send it to overtime. However our “D” got frisky & spooked the center who moved the ball & half the line jumped offsides.

The relentless pressure got to him again on the kick & he paused for a cool, refreshing “Choke-a-Cola”. Yep, you guessed it, he hit the upright and the resulting “DOINK” was a musically sweet sound to the Redskins faithful!

Let’s accept it, our Redskins are now International. I knew we had fans all over the world, but never expected our Redskins to play all over the world.

Lions Earn The Win, But Redskins Earn Respect

NFL football is definitely a 60 minute game, Unfortunately for our Washington Redskins the last minute of the game turned the victory into a loss.  In his 100th game Detroit Lions quarterback Matthew Stafford saw Redskins quarterback Kirk Cousins fool the Lions defense with a read-option keeper and run 19 yards for a touchdown. That gave the Redskins a 4 point lead with only a minute left in the game. Stafford lead his team downfield like a veteran quarterback and  hit receiver Anquan Boldin for an 18-yard touchdown with 16 seconds left, giving the Lions a 20-17 win.
