There’s a few confused people, but no real mystery. Samuel Adrian “Slingin’ Sammy” Baugh is of course legendary Washington Redskins player and coach – born on March 17, 1914, and passed on December 17, 2008. “Sammy Baugh’s Ghost” is Mike Wolf, Redskins poet extraordinaire, plain and simple.

Call it a pen name if you will, like “Mark Twain”, who was of course named Samuel Langhorne Clemens, or “Richard Bachman” who is of course Steven King or “Anne Rice” of vampire fame who was born Howard Allen Frances O’Brien, who was really a woman.

At any rate suffice it to say it’s a “Redskins Thang” – if we had to ‘splain it, we’d have to kill you, lol…
