“I know there’s a HUGE historic rivalry between the Redskins and the Cowboys, And I’m excited to be a part of it, and to come into this game and show these Cowboys what the Redskins are about in 2011.”
I know LaRon Landry is ready to play the Cowboys and he is reported healthy and will play. The Redskins have surprised a lot of people early this season by being 2 and 0 and leading the NFC East Division. The doubters and negative press are predicting a Cowboys victory, stating home-field advantage to Dallas and Tony Romo being “superior” to Rex Grossman.
Having said that, I have a message for Tony Romo: Boy, if you ain’t fit to play, stay off the field. The Redskins defense will be coming after you… broken rib, cracked rib, punctured lung whatever, if you get on that field we will treat you as our foe. There is no pity in the NFL; if you can’t run with the big dogs, stay the hell off the porch.
Many of us Redskins faithful believe the Redskins will go to “Jerry’s House” and will whip the Cowboys by controlling both lines of scrimmage, scoring a lot of points, and defensively stopping the Cowboys. I predict the Redskins with Tim Hightower and Roy Helu will rush for over 150 yards, and Rex Grossman will be a 100 pct rated quarterback after the game.
I also predict at least 4 sacks by the Redskins Defense and at least 2 turnovers recovered by the Redskins Defense. This game will be a Redskins victory, 35 to 17.
BTW, I don’t want the St. Louis Rams think that I or Shanny have forgotten about them. Josh McDaniels, you better do your homework. Ken Flajole, you better work overtime. Sam Bradford better get prepared to meet the Redskins defense. Steven Jackson, plan on sitting on the bench most of the game. Brandon Gibson, Danario Alexander, prepare to be embarrassed. The Washington Redskins will make billy-goat stew out of you guys.
